Business Systems Consultant
Candidate must have functional understanding of end-to-end source to pay processes. This person must be able to apply business process to technology by analyzing functional requirements and applying that to technical design. The candidate will monitor release updates from SAP Ariba and validate which updates are applicable to the Wells Fargo business. In addition, this candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills to be able to collaborate on mini projects for new functionality across scrum teams. The ideal candidate will possess an initiative to learn and the ability to utilize user guides and system documentation to identify and resolve issues.
Work within an agile environment writing user stories, managing/grooming backlog and then partnering with the team during delivery of the stories to ensure stories are accurately implemented.
Closely collaborate with stakeholders throughout the process to ensure ongoing alignment and participation throughout the agile process.
Translate requirements and system needs into effective customer experiences.
Drive discipline in execution, deliver business insights, resolve issues and manage change across the business while maintaining alignment with the overall SCM and program strategies and objectives.
Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts, system users, and stakeholders to understand and document existing and proposed business processes, requirements, and system needs.
Effectively facilitate solutioning and requirements gathering sessions with individuals and large groups.
Produce effective documentation to capture and communicate business process and requirements in various formats
Must have experience:
4-8 years of experience in SAP Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Buying, Invoicing, and Analytics
SAP Ariba Certifications
Experience configuring upstream templates, guided buying tiles, workflows, and invoice exceptions
Agile experience and ability to write user stories and manage backlog
Ability to think strategically, implement, and deliver business objectives
Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience building partnerships
Experience developing reports and metrics
Experience providing second level support to a diverse, global user base
Exceptional problem solving skills – able to understand complex business problems and processes, identify solutions and make decision
Strong documentation skills – business process flow, data flow diagrams, data definition documents, decision trees, logic diagrams, requirements documents, user experience flows, etc.
Visio or other process mapping software experience
Business Analyst experience in software development environment
