Systems Admin – NICE & Data Ops
The PayPal CS Infrastructure and Vendor Operations organization is looking for a senior data engineer to join its voice recording and workforce optimization team. Develop, support and maintain data related projects and products within a wider engineering team
Support team in infrastructure projects to upgrade, patch, and manage Windows systems
Create and manage monitoring solutions for this infrastructure
Responding to break/fix situations.
This role will be part of an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Establishing best practices for high availability infrastructure
Ability to work well with others, motivate other team members, and thrive in a dynamic and challenging work environment.
Ability to grasp and convey complex product requirements or technical concepts
Should have strong SQL programming skills
Strong analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Experience with data warehousing architecture and data modelling best practices
Ability to develop and maintain ETL processes
Strong proficiency with Python and PowerShell scripting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot and analyze data issues
Experience with documenting procedures and knowledge management
Strong focus on process improvements, efficiency and automation is desired.
Experience with the following technologies would be an advantage: Contact Center Technologies, NICE recording and quality products, Nexidia analytics, WFM solutions, Microstrategies, Tableau, SQL Server, Teradata, GoldenGate
