Project Execution and Delivery
As a member of the PharmSci Project Team, the Project Manager will work with team members (e.g., PSTL / Co-Development Lead, GPD Planner, PharmSci project team members, Supply Chain Lead) to manage the project and achieve key milestones according to the endorsed timeline, cost, and technical development strategy.
Participates in assigned Project Team meetings and supports the PSTL with overall management of the project team (as requested by and agreed with PSTL). The Project Manager assumes partial accountability for the portion of the project they are managing.
Monitors and tracks status of purchase orders to ensure alignment with Project Plan and Finance forecasts, including monthly accruals of costs.
Works with Procurement and Pharm Sci Outsourcing Specialists to manage interactions with third party manufacturers and other vendors necessary for the projects
Planning and Organization
Drives creation/maintenance of pharm sci / CoDev project plans.
Leads development of the program technical critical path. Ensures all lines on the PSPT / CDT understand the strategy, key milestones and interdependencies.
Support PCoE Portfolio Team functional initiatives; budgeting, management of share point, conduct governance meetings etc.
Contributes to the continuous improvement of project planning templates and methods and/or reporting and analytics practices within the Portfolio Operations and Project Management Team.
Participates and contributes to assigned Resource Planning (RAPID), governance teams, committees, or Limited Duration Teams to represent PharmSci perspective and needs within the broader WRDM and GPD planning community.
Leverages scientific and technical education and experience to support the development and understanding of pharmaceutical / CMC development principles within the PCoE Portfolio Team.
Risk Analysis and Management
Partners with the PSTL in the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of risk management plans, including risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies.
Facilitates team discussion and timely documentation of project risks and decision logs.
Ensure compliance with Pfizer policies and standards and local laws and regulations
Embody the standards for quality for all deliverables.
Ensures effective, accurate, and timely communication of program information to meet the needs of the co-development team and stakeholders
Supports development of project level goals that contribute to the overall goals of the business and monitors progress against these goals.
Ability to Influence and Motivate
Clarifies project deliverables/workload to enable partner lines to assess resource needs, raise gaps, and partner with team leadership to resolve
