Role Purpose:

To collaborate and support the Business facing Country teams with the preparation and collection of financial information (Actuals and Forecasts) as decision support for Production & Supply teams

To process and deliver country forecasting process (e.g. Budgets and Latest Estimates), in conjunction with the business facing teams; including provide reports and insightful analysis for the preparation of presentations to country/territory management

Accountabilities:

Prepare the financial case for investment proposals for review and approval by the relevant decision making body
Responsibilities of MEC Activities (Sales & COGS reporting, Inventory reporting, variance analysis, Budgeting & forecasting, other controlling activities).
Provide accurate, timely and relevant financial analysis and reports to Finance team in order to support key business decisions and validate results against KPI’s.
Produce, validate and analyse financial data and reports for country/function/site forecasting processes (i.e. Standard Costing cycle, quarterly Latest Estimates (LE’s) and annual Budgets) in order to ensure timely completion, accurate information and qualitative financial input.
Prepare and provide analysis on financial performance in P&S scope particularly in respect of COGs/Gross Profit and variances as well as Production, Supply and Distribution function Costs.
Support country/regional Planning and Forecasting process with financial input
Support Ad hoc analysis, projects and requests as necessary to enable decision support
Support best practices, knowledge and implementation of them to improve processes/services.
Support Continuous improvements in the process, in line with the finance operations

Experience required for the job:

Working experience of financial reporting systems and tools.
Experience in the understanding and effective communication of financial results to non-financial staff.
Understanding of reporting, budgeting, forecasting and planning processes, ideally within a shared service environment.
Sound understanding of key financial concepts, solid theoretical background in finance and accounting.
Ability to effectively analyse numerical information, present conclusions and recommendations in a clear way.
Ability to influence finance stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure while keeping high quality of output.
Ability to combine attention to details and understanding the big picture

Critical knowledge required for the job:

Controlling experience (cogs analysis, variance analysis, MIS, Product costing))
SAP CO module must and Knowledge of FI, MM & SD module will add advantage
Ability to manage Global fiancé stakeholders
Fluent in English communications
MS excel knowledge
Concern for high standards and data accuracy and service mindset
Should have managed stakeholder in a multi country set up.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualification:

Bachelor/Master/MBA in Economics or Finance
Holds professional Finance qualification i.e. CA, ICWA or equivalent will add advantage..
4-7 years of experience in multinational environment / plant exposure / Business Controlling, FP&A – P&S
