Managed Service Operations Analyst II
The Static Ops team is responsible for managing reference and static data setups across multiple internal applications.
From a BAU perspective, the team needs to ensure all static data setup and update requests are processed in internal applications accurately and on timely basis. Ensure relevant controls are followed while performing the updates in the system given as these are critical from a service delivery standpoint and further processing of trade, margin and cash for the Listed Derivates are dependent on these updates/setups performed. Work with client during new account onboarding across the applications.
From a project perspective, the team engages in various tactical and strategic process improvements and system architecture changes. The team also handles requests for information from the business and co-ordinates any setup changes requested by the business.
What you will be doing
Manage the static setup within in scope systems based on agreed SLA Targets with our clients
o Analyse and understand short and medium term targets within the static function to ensure adherence to SLAs and appropriate support to the client
o Work with utility management and client stakeholders to ensure that SLA breaches are closed out in a timely fashion
o Compile reporting to key process stakeholders around the static function
o Proactively identify areas for performance and control improvements
o Constantly analyse productivity/output to identify potential enhancements or cost savings
o Articulate business cases to management/change/IT to execute and deliver on suggested improvements
o Guide/encourage team to propose solutions and take ownership of changes
o Develop test scripts and manage the GMI static data UAT function as part of a project team
o Feed into Functional Requirements documents in respect to GMI static data
o Build strong relationships with all client stakeholders
o Co-ordinate timely response and resolution of all queries from client
o Ensure accuracy and clarity in all deliverables to client stakeholders
o Provide constant feedback to client stakeholders to improve our service offering
o Monitor controls and checks associated with tasks in SOPs
o Constantly analyse all activities to close potential risks, gaps and implement preventative/detective controls
o Ensure timely escalations in the event of a risk incident or whenever management attention is needed on a potential issue
What you bring:
Minimum of 2, 5, 8+ years of work experience in Futures/Options Reference Data & Static Operations function.
Detailed SME knowledge and understanding of GMI and how static data interacts in the system; Ransys knowledge would be good but not essential
Front to back understanding of the static function, upstream dependencies and how it impacts processes downstream around clearing, margin and brokerage, so that complex queries can be addressed accurately and in a timely manner
Detailed knowledge and understanding of exchange traded derivatives (Futures) and preferably OTC products as well
Detailed understanding of exchange traded derivatives (OTC and Futures/Options)
High attention to detail and quality of outputs delivered.

MBA Degree or equivalent

Experience dealing with large financial services clients.
Experience in Position & Cash Reconciliation for ETD & OTC Derivatives
Experience in Trade Clearing & Lifecycle process for ETD & OTC Derivatives
Knowledge of Front to Back Trade & Cash Settlement flows
