The incumbent will be responsible for leading the External Channel acquisition strategy in North India through a large tele sales & field sales team focused on driving new business from new clients.
The incumbent will bring substantial, multi-year experience in acquisition for Cards/financial services, excellent leadership, and communication skills.
The incumbent will display strong business & sales acumen to build & grow the channel.
Success in this role is measured by over-achieving regional sales targets and demonstrating strong sales leadership.
Develop and own regional sales plans, implementation, performance tracking and sales process optimization to exceed annual sales targets set for External Channels.
Own end to end acquisition journey from prospecting and lead generation through pipeline management to account signups and BCV ramp up.
End-to-end management of relationship with the Serco team including but not limited to contract management, resource planning, invoicing & payments, incentive payouts.
Establish and lead strong business relationships with internal stakeholders (Risk, Credits, Implementation, Product, Finance, GCO, etc.)
Manage regional sales pipeline and improve channel level sales productivity, velocity, and efficiency.
Establish and execute a strong sales and compliance governance process with effective controls and measures.
Will also be responsible for B2B sales.
At least 8+ years of professional sales leadership experience in the commercial card/travel/ payments with an in-depth understanding of acquisition channels, card economics, expense management solutions.
Drive to build business and channel and establish a strong team spirit and teamwork across the channel, proactively managing ambiguity.
Outstanding communication, networking and influencing skills. Proven ability to forge strong relationships in a complex matrix organization with stakeholders across internal teams and external partners.
Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced environment, delivering flawless execution, with enthusiasm.
College graduate or equivalent combination of education & relevant business experience. MBA preferred.
