Job Description General Electric Recruitment 2020 Job Vacancies for Data Analyst in October 2020:
This role will serve as a subject matter expert in Reporting & Analytics and report to People Analytics Manager. Core of this role will be on Reporting & Analytics, including the development of complex reports combining industry best practices with ability to produce compelling data stories that will help our HR teams/business make data-driven decisions.
This position is responsible for providing technical expertise to HR team & and other cross-functional teams (e.g. finance, sourcing) for reporting & analytics HR related products by gathering, analyzing and interpreting people related data.
In this role, you will:
Have the opportunity to interact with HR Leadership team to explore the real-life business problems, ensuring that we are incorporating new data & analytics technologies to find creative solutions, while providing value to our employees; build complex reports and analysis where users can get actionable insights; support team from data perspective for new Talent Management products such as Talent, Engagement Survey Platform, Learning Platform etc. including managing the operations of Talent Management systems where data retrieved from; manage the needs of different stakeholders and prioritize action items; mentor team members and business leaders regarding how to access, leverage and use the data; build reports and combine with storytelling skills to persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior leaders and other stakeholders and manage large Data & Analytic projects or working as a key project member.
Project/Product Management experience
Knowledge and experience on protecting sensitive data
Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to reporting accuracy
Experience with Workday Reporting & Analytics and Tableau Software
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Comfortable managing competing priorities and ambiguity
Ability to work independently, set priorities, collaborate cross teams, and deliver quality products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Predictive modeling experience
Knowledge on Advanced Analytics
Prior experience supporting People initiatives (i.e. recruiting, onboarding, engagement surveys, etc.) and has a genuine interest in the employee experience
Familiarity with Lean methodologies
Familiarity with product centric models, design thinking and persona development/journey mapping is advantageous
Knowledge on R, Phyton, D3 or similar frameworks
