Essential Responsibilities:
⢠Provides the engineering results as allocated to the group on-time, correct and complete
⢠Complies with company work instructions, customer specifications, tender documentation and applicable codes & standards
⢠Maintains overview and follows all document revisions provided to the project including proper identification of the modifications
⢠Controls and follows regularly the 100%-scope of supply as the scope of piping & valves changes within the project execution time
⢠Participates in design reviews
⢠Strictly follows DCR-procedures
⢠Interfaces with other departments, mainly: Scheduling (STS preparation), Purchasing (procurement plan, L2- meetings, supplier follow-up), Quality (QCP-preparation, inspections), Process Engineering, Arrangement Planning and Construction Engineering Transport, Logistic
⢠Reports early and active any resource problems
⢠Gives feedback of identified technical problems to ERS
⢠Contributes to the improvement of work instructions and specification templates
⢠Issues the Pipe Class Manual based upon process data
⢠Issues the pressure test concept and pressure test P&IDâs
⢠Manages outsources turnkey packages, like large GRP main cooling water piping and electrical heat tracing
⢠Performs piping wall thickness calculations and piping fitting calculations
⢠Assigns pipe specifications to the pipes and prepares pipe specifications for 3d modelling
⢠Performs insulation thickness calculations, issues insulation specifications and assigns them to KKS objects
⢠Assigns valves and expansion joints in the EDB, ensures availability and correctness of the 3d
⢠Issues BOQâs for material ordering and manages delta material
⢠Manages piping prefabrication and ordering of pipe support and support steel
⢠Prepares the technical documentation related his procurement packages
⢠Participates in supplier Level 2 meetings and agrees with supplier on final technical specification
⢠Prepares the Technical Tender Analysis for each procurement package
⢠Issues the Order Request to Purchasing including signed Level 2 documents
⢠Follows all POâs and regular checks the engineering database for scope changes
⢠Controls the document submission from suppliers
⢠Issues engineering list (piping list, valve list, insulation / heat tracing list, painting list, etc.)
⢠Ensures consistency between P&ID, engineering database, 3d model, isometrics drawings, Pipe Class Manual and Purchase Orders
⢠Performs supplier inspections and qualifications
⢠Resolves technical queries and non conformances from customers, suppliers and site
⢠Controls 100% material scope and follow up
⢠Prepares and controls the PED and ATEX documentation
⢠Prepares and controls the Erection- and O&M documentation for valves
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Extensive experience in an engineering environment, preferably in the Power Plant Industry or another EPC-business
• Familiarity with engineering databases and tools, preferably COMOS and Aveva
• Design and material standards of ASME and EN
• Good familiarity in English
• Engineering degree or equivalent, in the closest discipline, namely: Arrangement & Piping & Mechanical process and product engineering
