Reporting to the FC, we have a position for Finance Manager, to join our India head office in Yelahanka, Bangalore.
You will work closely with the senior leadership team of the entity as a business partner, providing information, analysis, expertise and commercial recommendations. Additionally, you will have the following responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities
Collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information. Predicting future financial trends
Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
Lead the monthly closing process of books to produce accurate financial reports & MIS related to budgets, actual results, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
Developing long term business plans based on these reports, proactively identify issues, investigate and provide recommendations that will enhance visibility & directions to business
Lead and control the audit procedure to ensure appropriate statutory financials are reproduced and submitted to authorities.
Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken including improvement of the coordination & communication to ensure achievement of Co’s objectives
Create and implement Finance procedures & controls to ensure processes are efficient and effective and support Finance’s objectives in delivering appropriate business outcomes.
Analyse and interpret financial statements and accounts to identify drivers leading to variances & devise appropriate plans to proactively arrest & minimise these gaps & surprises
Ensure all payments are valid and authorised in line with company policy. Unauthorized payments are prevented and attempts at fraudulent activity are identified, investigated, communicated as appropriate and stopped
Lead, direct, manage & develop a team to ensure a high-performance culture
Initiate and manage ad-hoc and special projects to meet specified team and business needs
Actively work with NZ and Aus teams for various assignments and develop global relationships

Education and work experience requirements
Post graduate degree in commerce and/or MBA finance with 10 years of finance / accounting / operations and commercial experience
Alternatively, a qualified CA with a minimum of 6 years of work experience
Candidate should be well conversant with accounting practices, have strong experience in closing books and releasing MIS & financials
Handled statutory & tax regulations like GST, PF, ESI, TDS etc.
Handled business operations and have a hands-on FP&A / data analytics experience
Sharp business acumen, analytical mind, proven advanced Excel skills & tech savvy.
Negotiation skills and ability to develop strong working relationships including team management skills
Ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency
Should have handled big4 audit independently, capability of managing multiple stake holders
Have good commercial awareness, strong communication skills and a willingness to be hands on / keen eye for detail & desire to probe further.
