Application Support Engineer
The selected candidate will:
Be part of team running, maintenance and support of technology projects post-transition, using advanced technical capabilities
Responsible for Client onboarding activities and user access management including configuration of workflows.
Responsible for the smooth, on-going operation and support for technology in managed services engagements.
Contribute to projects/initiatives which impact the engagement infra landscape.
Contribute to maintaining software versions for the engagement.

Your key responsibilities
On-going support of applications
Handle technology troubleshooting and triaging incidents
Delivery of assessment, analysis, planning and design of release packages
Gain a deep understanding of products, services and key business processes
Builds trusted relationships with internal and external business and client leaders to gain a deep understanding of products, services and key business
Skills and attributes for success
Understanding of technology including networks, storage systems, servers, operating systems, applications, database and web platforms.
Understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell
Hands own experience delivering infrastructure projects (Firewall, switches, routers, LAN, WAN, load balancing, VPN etc.)
Exposure to working with CITRIX/Windows Virtual Desktop.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field preferred
6 to 10 years of relevant work experience
Strong knowledge of .NET, SQL
Relevant experience in either an internal or external support engineering role, or similar
Experience in customer facing roles
Significant managed service experience with modern technology understanding including cloud service, virtual networks/systems
Proven experience working virtually in a globally dispersed team
Experience adhering to strategic operational plans
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience working Agile/Scrum environment preferred.
Experience working in Dev Ops organizations preferred.
Experience in a professional services industry preferred.
Experience working in TFS and TFS Release Management is preferred.
Familiarity with ITIL v2 or 3 would be advantageous
PowerBI and Angular knowledge preferred
