Job Description for Deloitte Careers Recruitment Hiring for Business Technology Analyst in March 2020:
This position requires facilitating development and release of applications and subsequently supporting the application users both from a technical and functional perspective in a second tier support environment. The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, the ability to execute and deliver project deliverables on budget and on time, and multi-task in a dynamic environment. They should be able to translate the business needs into functional application development requirements and have good logical and analytical thinking. This position requires significant interaction with business teams, coordination with technical delivery team and client users and you must possess excellent communication, consulting, and probing skills to effectively manage business expectations and delivery challenges. Applicants should be able to function in a close team environment and communicate within the team. You will also troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Compliance Product tools by liaising with various stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between various business units, technology teams, support teams and end users.
Brainstorming new content requirements and integrate into requirements gathering; creating visual representation of the requirements such as process flows.
Evaluating constraints and risks associated with the enhancements, outlining assumptions and impacts; preparing/ Reviewing Business Requirements Documents (BRD’s).
Create functional designs, test plans, user documentations.
Guide Software Development team during design specifications requiring consistency in pre-established GUI design and navigation rules. Conduct technical reviews with the development team, authoring narrative use cases.
Conduct unit testing on the development environment and log results. Conduct integration and regression testing in the development environment and log results.
Coordinating and Facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with subject matter experts (SME).
Coordinate QA testing and Production verification sign – off. Ensure end product complies with all functional specifications and meets user requirements.
Providing daily reporting on UAT and QA statuses and sign – off for the entire period.
Rollover communications and facilitate Go/No Go meetings with Stake Holders.
Oversee and mentor support teams, work with Tier 1 and 2 (support team) personal to resolve client issues in timely manner.
Key skills required:
1 to 3 years of Business Systems Analysis and/or Application Testing experience and solid critical thinking and problem solving skills
Requirements management applications such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server, JIRA, IBM Rational DOORS, etc.
Microsoft office: Word, Excel, Visio, Project
Languages: SQL, Excel VBA
Logical and business analysis thinking
Problem solving with documentation and specification expertise
High level of attention to detail, ability to execute and deliver project deliverables on budget and on time, and multi-task in a dynamic environment.
Ability to integrate rapidly with the existing team
