Job Description Cytel Recruitment 2021 Job Vacancy for Azure Cloud Administrator in February 2021:

A Cloud Administrator is responsible for working in a mixed Windows and Unix software environment, mainly on Windows. Additional responsibilities include:

Managing the instances of the cloud infrastructure services, as well as the multiple cloud servers and subscriptions
Lead and maintain the multiuser computing environment as per the requirements of the organization. The individual shall have strong technical knowledge of virtualized services such as IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
Monitor, develop, configure, implement and manage the systems that comprise the organization’s cloud presence based on prescribed methodology. A good understanding of resource load balancing and automated deployment is also crucial.
Establish and execute the cloud operations as per the specifications and parameters
Server installation, maintenance, monitoring in cloud/IaaS
Linux and Windows server installation, maintenance, monitoring, data backup and recovery, security and administration
AD setup and managing along with LDAP integration
Configuring / managing networking and security appliance
Managing networked storage
Disaster Recovery and Incident Response Planning
Installing, configuring and supporting primarily Linux and Microsoft Windows Servers on IaaS
Communicate with peers and managers regarding system issues & participate in 24×7 on-call
IT Compliance and Change Management:
Configure the system to create change requests for specific modifications to virtual machines
Periodic review of the systems and generate monitoring reports for compliance
Service level management for Cloud Management: When activated, the Orchestration plugins for Amazon EC2 and Microsoft Azure create service level agreements (SLA) and operational level agreements (OLA) for Cloud Management.


Bachelor degree in information systems or computer science required; Master’s considered
6+ years of experience in implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting the Windows, Unix/ Linux operating system, Internet-based applications, and web servers
2+ years of experience in administering cloud platforms like Azure
2+ years hands-on experience in Active Directory setup / configuration and LDAP integration
2+ years hands-on experience in configuring network devices such as L2/L3 switches, routers, and firewalls
Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
Professional Exposure to container platform tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to interact with technical and business counterparts
Being available for working outside of normal business hours, holidays, and some weekends when needed for on-call periods, 24×7 on-call
Strong team, interpersonal, analytical, problem identification and resolution skills
Professional Exposure to DevOps release and build management, automation scripts, and experience with tools like Git, bash scripting, and PowerShell

Nice to have

Working knowledge of ITIL and/or agile methodologies
Experience with TCP/IP protocol & configuration and Internet technologies
Experience with LAN/WAN networking/distributed computing environment (client/server)
Experience with virtualized computing, such as virtual machines, virtual networks and network virtual appliances
Experience installing and managing Database, Big Data or NoSQL deployments
Professional curiosity and the ability to enable yourself in new technologies and tasks
Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision
Experience understanding set IT strategies and objectives
Experience in administering cloud platforms like AWS, AWS Cloud Formation, Ansible, Salt, Chef or Puppet
Certification in Azure Administration
