The Role Responsibilities
Deliver business solutions for the Transaction Banking Financial Institution Clearing and Investigation business
The Sr Business Analyst is involved in the design or modification of business systems or IT systems as they are related to the installed MTS Payment instances. The Sr Business analyst interacts with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their problems and needs. The Sr Business analyst gathers, documents, and analyses business needs and requirements
Responsible for collaborating with all SCB’s partners to find alternatives and solutions to business challenges. Seek out systems solutions (either internal to client or external 3rd party solutions) that can be leveraged to meet business requirements. Engage the business client early and effectively, building solid relationships
Accountable for Identifying, understanding, negotiating and documenting business requirements with various groups. Oversee the documentation of any analysis/requirements in the form of Impact analysis, BRD or Functional Specification Document, ensuring timeliness and completeness.
Responsible for scheduling and planning of cost estimates and timelines of projects.
Accountable for managing the delivery of project scope and requirements documents.
Act as primary liaison with business functions and solution management during the development lifecycle, from needs analysis and functional specification through testing, QA and rollout.
Consult as a guide for SIT Team and Business users in developing and effective Test Strategy. Assist them when they run into roadblocks. Assist the Development Team in analyzing software defects and reporting them
Responsible for developing effective User Validation Tests and conduct actual implementation of these plans. Support business users in the initial few weeks of the implementation.
Accountable for providing proper hand-off and training to Production Support teams
Responsible for appropriate assistance and support to be given to the Production Support teams for investigation and resolution of production issues.
Be informed on current/changing business processes, participation in defining application and platform functionality.
Consulted on extensive experience of working with vendor applications and vendor resources
Accountable for exceptional communication, problem solving and cross-group collaboration skills.
Responsible for demonstrating expertise using written & verbal communication skills to make technology projects user friendly and user accessible
Accountable for excellent analysis and critical thinking skills.
Work as a team player with testing, project management, business analysis, and tech teams to deliver the business solution or project.
Engage all interfacing applications early and effectively; coordinate relations with upstream and downstream system development teams
Ability to negotiate and building consensus when dealing with internal customers, stakeholders and team members. Able to build credible relationships both in immediate team and across multiple customer groups.
Coordinate project requirements with upstream/downstream system stakeholders. Provide hands on training to the business users and other stakeholders.
Ensure that all documentation is delivered in line with SCB standards and the documentations and planning comply with Bank’s Data Quality Management standards and FCC guidelines
