Sr Product Manager – Tech
We are looking for an energetic Sr. Product Manager – Tech to lead key initiatives within the Regulatory and customer experience space. In line with RP’s charter, key delivery areas include proactive illegal product identification, driving automation within the enforcement or selling partner interaction space, and reinventing the associate experience to drive scalability and efficiency.
A day in the life
This is a strategic role to shape and deliver our product strategy in developing and delivering exciting experience to our consumers – more so as we reach customers across multiple new mature/emerging countries and marketplaces. The person will enjoy working with one of the richest data sets in the world, cutting edge technology, and the ability to see insights drive the creations of tools and features for our customers and thousands of merchants on our platform on a regular basis. These initiatives are at the heart of the organization and recognized as innovations that will allow us to build a differentiated product that exceeds customer expectations.
The role is expected to:
•Lead the development of product roadmap and vision supported by internal and external analysis
•Work with cross functional teams – product, tech, operations and business teams, to define needs, build solution and measure results
•Work on ambiguous problems and be comfortable taking risks and learn from business outcomes
•Clarify and drive short-term and long-term project priorities and commitments, as well as establish and maintain clear chains of project and program management and accountability
•Develop detailed, crisp business requirements, user stories, and product specifications
•Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience and performance
•Identify and resolve strategic issues to meet team’s strategic, financial, and technical goal
•Communicate product plans and results that influence senior executives
•Plan and conduct product/business reviews and reporting, including program flashes, budgeting, ops optimization
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
•The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant product/program management experience. With the experience of end to end product delivery.
•Strong understanding of software development process with an appreciation for maintaining a high-quality bar with low operational overhead.
•Understanding of drivers of performance, scale and operational excellence in software and ability to work with software development manager to ensure these aspects in all software used in the program.
•Experience in a fast-paced dynamic sometimes ambiguous environment
•Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.
•Excellent communication skills in written and oral English with the ability to face external and internal customers in a professional and mature manner.
•Candidates should demonstrate superior project management and troubleshooting skills. · An approach that starts from the end customer and then work backwards from there.
•Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Strategy consulting or other general management
•Experience with enterprise developer customers
•Experience with end to end product delivery for tech companies
•Proven track record driving innovation on behalf of both enterprises and consumers.
•Experience delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment with a demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements
