Job Description for Altruista Health Recruitment 2020 Hiring for Business Analyst in April 2020:
The Business Analyst role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying and managing the business needs of the project stakeholders including customers and end users. Should work closely with business units, subject matter experts and technical resources to identify business needs, define projects, develop requirements and manage the development effort to completion.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Elicit requirements from different sources across the organization and clients through different sources like requirements calls, enhancement documents, change requests, test cases…
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Proven and deep experience on use-case/user story creation, requirements documents, prototyping, story-boarding etc. as also managing non-functional requirements
Facilitate workshops with business users to support Product
Has worked with and can competently contribute to and complement the testing carry-out from test planning and strategy to defect triages
Has worked with and has knowledge on UX/Usability related.
Possesses in-depth knowledge of Agile Methodology, SDLC, estimation techniques and Change Management aspects
Coordinates with demo teams and pitches the BA competencies via collaterals, case-studies and presentations.
Familiar with and exposure to Design, Development and database aspects.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree in Information Technology
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3-5 years of related professional experience
Experience in documenting the workflow process
Working experience in bug tracking tools like JIRA
Great analytical & Problem-Solving Skills,
Superior communication (written & verbal) and Presentation Skills
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL (Access preferred but not required)
Should be a team player. Experience in working with cross-functional teams is an added advantage
