As manager of the Accounts Receivable team, you will be responsible for a team of 6 fte located in Amsterdam (2 fte) and Pune (4fte). The AR team is responsible for collecting the cash for 3 of our Business Units. The team maintains the group customer master data in SAP. Also the team is responsible for the clearing of web shop cash collections against individual web invoices and analysing potential web related credit card fraud.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Manage team of 6 fte setting objectives and align with the Financial Shared Service Units’ objectives
Group reporting of AR aging
Actively maintain network with internal stakeholders like BU controllers and account managers and proactively inform them on relevant information
Work together with billing teams to identify ways to further improve billing quality
Identify opportunities to improve collection processes
Improve transparency by implementing aligned reporting preferably real time available for stakeholders
Reporting to Business control team, the status of collections and aging of outstanding receivables
Ensure 100% accurate accounting of all sales invoices/ credit memos. Application of Receipts & Credit memos against respective invoices to have correct listing of outstanding invoices.
Need to Coordinate with Statutory and internal auditor for their requirements pertains to accounts receivable profile
Education MCom,/ MBA(Finance) / CMA/ CA Inter
Basic accounting knowledge. End to end process knowledge on Order to Cash process
Strong communication & good networking skills;
Minimum of 5 years experience as Credit Controller or 2 years as a Credit Manager, preferably in an international commercial organization and in a licensing / automotive business.
Computer literate /MS Office365; proficient knowledge of Excel & Word; Knowledge of SAP,
Good analytical skills / experience with reporting tools
Pro-active and organized team player with the ability to successfully work across cultural boundaries;
Able to work independently without daily instructions and supervision
Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships and demonstrate a customer service approach to daily work activities.
Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
