Job Description Smith Nephew Careers Accounting Job Vacancy for Process Analyst in April 2021:
Follow up IC payment aged items through follow up with Accounts payable contacts.
Identifies/reviews and resolves invoicing / good receipt challenges coordinating with relevant country contract including controller and supply chain organization.
Resolution of IC minor disputes (example: wrong currency used in invoice, incorrectly billed company), by recommending corrective actions to the appropriate site POCs.
Resolves IC major disputes (pricing issues, product quality concern, etc.) by acting as the intermediary between the accounts payable contact (or purchaser) and the sales team
Reporting on timely manager in compliance with Group Finance Controls and compliance framework
Reconciles and analyzes AR /AP transactions and suggest resolutions including cross charging.
Recommends resolution for aged items with incomplete details, without Intercompany partners code, missing backups and disputed charges.
Follow up and support resolution BS open items with action plan in line in place
Ensure adherence to SLA and KPIs as per the agreed standards
Ensure timely updation / preparation of SOPs in line with QMF standards
Work closely with Team Lead & Quality team on continuous improvement projects
Preparation for nettings including reconciliation of AP and AR
Collaboration and coordination with country controller organization and other stakeholders for netting / settlement
Escalations as per the laid down protocol in ICO function; thus, cross functional coordination and influence capability
Secures approval from the site finance heads and approvers for the issuance of credit/debit note to offset, approval of variance to pay etc.
Actively participate in all employee engagement activities
Actively participate and support all projects related to system migration, UAT testing and system implementation
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in RTR/Intercompany processes like month end close, Reconciliations and Reporting
Must have local language skills and fluency in English
Strong technical and hand on experience in inter-company transactions
Worked in matrix organization with cross functional coordination and very good influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders management
Demonstrates experience in analysing financial data, drawing sound conclusions and developing proposals/solutions.
Must be able to demonstrate a track record of success in working with diverse stakeholders
Must have the ability to assess, react quickly and decisively to problems, taking tough decisions where needed or escalating issues as appropriate
