Job Description General Electric Recruitment 2020 Accounting Job Openings in Chennai Hiring for Payments Transformation in September 2020:
This role is responsible for building and leading a global ERP Payments COE in support of Power and Renewables. This role will align closely with payments COE leaders supporting other businesses.
Responsible for designing target state ERP Payments COE to
support Energy ERP payments, migrating work to target organization structure
and ensuring that effective governance and controls are in place.
Responsible for leading ERP Payments COE in target state, driving
a LEAN culture to facilitate adequate segregation of duties, risk mitigation
and operational efficiency to meet customer expectations for SLA’s and Quality
and to meet productivity goals.
Lead transformation projects to
leverage LEAN processes across the Energy ERP Payments COE for the
Disbursements processes. Share best
practices across other Business Payments COE leaders to drive continuous
improvement. Drive and report out on KPI’s.
Collaborate with upstream and downstream stakeholders, including B2P organization & manual
payments teams to establish shared accountability in order to continuously
improve process performance and quality, and obtain productivity.
Manage and escalate critical system and bank production
issues requiring interface with Bank, IT and Product Management leaders to
ensure timely resolution and contingency planning.
Develop and maintain
a business continuity program for payment execution to support business goals
Ensure bank account controllership & SOD; review and
sign payment requests as needed
Manage / support strategic projects in support of Target
State Treasury. Support the
prioritization of projects and design and automation of processes.
Manage vendor relationships and
Statements of Work for teams supporting payments processes. Hold vendors accountable for work quality & productivity.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related area.
Minimum of 8 years of financial services experience, and/or treasury / payments experience with demonstrated team leadership capabilities.
Experience with Energy ERP’s (Oracle, SAP, Axtapa)
Broad understanding of banking networks, payment systems,
collections, disbursements, FX, pooling/concentration.
Change agent with strong credibility and ability to
effectively influence at all levels of the organization
Experience working in global business environment with a
sound understanding of global process and transactional flows.
Strong project management skills: project plan development and execution
LEAN experience a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proven
ability to coach teams to do the same.
Strong influencing skills across business functions and with
Strong organizational skills – ability to effectively manage
multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment.
Adaptable/flexible: open to change in response to new
information, different or unexpected circumstances. Able to work in ambiguous situations. Experienced in a matrix and global environment preferred.
