Assistant Manager / Manager, FP&A

We are looking for someone with FPA experience, preferably someone who has supported the Sales organization to manage their end to end budget.
You will work closely with the Corporate FP&A team, as well as the Business Line Group Finance Officers to facilitate delivery of timely and accurate management reporting, as well as provide support on variance analysis. You will participate in the identification and escalation of key financial observations and help optimize business performance by reporting on financial performance and forecasting future financial results.
Qualification: CA/Inter/Graduate/MBA/Masters in Finance
Experience: 5+ years of experience
Experience in FP&A (Preferably in Sales Org).
Budgeting / Forecasting the costs. Variance analysis. Headcount reporting, Monitoring actual expenses.
Ad-hoc Work As Required.
Understands accounting and has the ability to work with cross functional team.
Solid understanding of forecasting/budget and accrual concepts.
Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities & Power Point.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Work experience in Oracle fusion / ERP tool is preferred
Working hours in shifts (between 2:00 pm till 11:00 pm). Should be flexible.
Develop an understanding of the business strategic priorities, resource and headcount needs; collaborate with them to execute and improve financial planning and budgeting.
Manage commission payments.
Co-ordinate with Corporate FPA to explain variances in forecast vs actuals.
Assist with month-end close and reporting activities. Book accrual and cross charge JE’s accurately and on time.
Build reports and assist with monthly actuals-to-forecast variance analysis.
Monitor expense and headcount plan vs actual, and provide analysis/recommendation for business partners and Finance team.
